Heavy damages were reported after a farm tractor collided with buildings last month.

A 23-year-old allegedly behind the wheel of a farm tractor that crashed into a building on Main Street in Seaforth has been charged by OPP.

The OPP's Huron detachment were dispatched to the collision involving a farm tractor with two trailers attached, and a Seaforth store front, on Oct. 13.

The collision caused extensive damage to the structural integrity of the building, which contained a business in the lower half, and a residence in the upper portion.

Residents were home at the time of the collision, but were uninjured.

The driver is charged under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act with failing to stop at a red light, careless driving and failing to remain. The accused is required to attend provincial offences act court in Goderich to answer the charges.
