After $5,000 in high-end alcohol was stolen from local LCBOs, police are asking for help identifying two suspects.
On Jan. 27, Stratford police received reports of theft from both LCBO locations in the city.
At noon, three suspects entered the LCBO store at the Stratford Mall. Suspects selected high-end bottles of alcohol and left the store without paying.
A short time after, the same suspects attended the downtown LCBO, selecting several high-end bottles of alcohol and left without paying.
Police have images of the suspects. One male was identified as a Stefan Botescu, 55. A warrant has been issued for Botescu’s arrest, however, the other two suspects remain unknown.
The first suspect is described as a white female, 40-50 years of age, medium build and height with glasses. She was wearing blue jeans, a black winter jacket with a fur lined hood, and a beige knitted toque.
The second is described as a white male with a heavy build, 65-75 years of age. He was wearing blue jeans, a black winter jacket, and a ball cap.
