25-year-old North Perth resident facing sexual assault charges

Police say the victim was sexually assaulted on two occasions between June and November 2022

Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a 25-year-old resident of North Perth in relation to two sexual assault incidents that occurred last year. 

Police say they began the investigation March 13. The investigation determined the victim was sexually assaulted on two occasions between June and November of 2022. The accused and victim were known to each other, says the OPP release. 

The 25-year-old has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date.
