A 19-year-old resident of North Perth faces sexual assault charges after officers responded to a domestic disturbance in North Perth on the afternoon of Nov. 19.
Investigation determined that the victim had been sexually assaulted, says a release from Perth County OPP. The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor physical injuries.
The accused was held in custody to await bail hearing and stands charged with:
• Sexual assault
• Assault cause bodily harm - choke, suffocate or strangle
• Assault
• Assault with a weapon
• Uttering threats - cause death or bodily harm
