WALKER, James Wallace 'Jim'

James Wallace Walker, age 81 of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 14 2023 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Flesherton, son of the late Thomas George Walker and Mary (Eadie) Walker and his stepfather James Albert Walker. Jim was predeceased by his loving wife Marion (Sangster) Walker, September 26, 2009. Loving father of Douglas Walker, Christine (Richard) MacKenzie, Patricia Robinson and Lynda (Kevin) Steele. Proud grandfather of Jordan Walker, Ryan MacKenzie, Dylan MacKenzie (Ash), Adam Robinson (Stacey), Owen Robinson (Brooke), Cory Robinson (Kelsey), Brandon Steele (Krystal), Jessica Storey (Nick), Kevin Steele Jr. (Whitney) and his great grandchildren Caidance, Lily, Tyson, Hazel, Evelynn, Violet, Cameron, Brycen and Tyson. Jim will be fondly remembered by his brother Robert (Judy) Walker and their family. Jim worked for many years with the Ministry of Transportation and B.M. Ross and Associates before retiring. The family invites friends and relatives to their dad’s visitation on Thursday, May 18, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
