Mom and Dad both worked hard to raise their five children. Mom learned to speak English by listening to the radio and singing along to all the songs. Some that mom still loved to sing were, You are My Sunshine, Roses are Red My Love and Wings of a Dove. Mom loved working in the hospitality industry and was affectionately known by many as Annie at the Arden Park. Annie only retired after 45 years from this profession she loved nine years ago. Mom unconditionally and unselfishly loved her family and supported them all her life. Mom will be remembered and acknowledged as a hardworking, loving mother and a loyal friend to all that knew and respected her.

We would like to share mom’s morning prayer:

Goede morge lieve God dese dag is for U and alles wat ik doe.

Good Morning Dear God, this day is for you and everything that I do.

We will treasure our memories with Mom forever and knowing that her and Dad have been reunited.
