Francis Michael Price, age 89, lifelong resident of Stratford, passed away surrounded by his loving children on May 24, 2023 at Hillside Manor.
Born in Stratford, son of the late Edwin and Rose (Vollmer) Price. Beloved husband of the late Marlene Joy (Holmes) who predeceased him February 2, 2023. Proud and loving father of Deb Price, Rick Price, Anne Price (Bill Vesey) and Janet Price. Francis will be remembered by his brother John (Donna) Price, brother-in-law Jack Reynolds along with nieces and nephews.
At a young age Francis worked in the lumber yard at Kroehler’s. He later was a welder by trade working at Cooper Bessemer and later Festival City Fabricators until his retirement. Besides his parents, Francis was predeceased by brother Ron (Arlene) Price, sisters Theresa Gallant, Norma (Donald) Jamula, Marie Reynolds and sister-in-law Linda Page.
A celebration of Francis’s life will be held in the Reception Centre of the W.G.
