Our little angel Gordon “Gordie” Jacob Merkel, passed away after a short, but big fight on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at Sick Kids Hospital (Toronto), he was born on June 30, 2022.
His passing breaks the hearts of so many people, especially his parents Jacob and Amanda (Vossen) Merkel and his big sister Lyra. He will be remembered by his grandparents Dave and Heather Vossen, John and Alanna Poel and Jeff and Mary Merkel, His aunts and uncles Christa (Keith) Kuepfer, Whitney (Kevin) Steele, Tony Vossen, Josie Poel, Caleb Poel, Owen Merkel and Bryan (Nicki) Merkel, and his cousins Bella, Max, Cameron, Tyson and Brycen. Gordie will also be remembered by his great grandparents, his many great aunts uncles and cousins.
