Lorne Harold Hansen, age 75, of Stratford, passed away after a lengthy battle with COPD at his residence on Saturday, July 2, 2022.
Born in Stratford, son of the late Crete and Frieda (Greves) Hansen. Lorne is survived by his wife Judy (Robichaud) Hansen. He was the proud father of Steven Hansen (Michelle Green-Hansen), Elizabeth (Dave) Belfry, Michelle (Mike) McLeod and Jennifer (Andy) Diamond. Proud grandfather of his 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Lorne will be remembered by his sister-in-law Donna Hansen.
Lorne was a truck driver, working for Zehr’s, Steelcraft, retiring from Rutherford Logistics. He loved to be outdoors, hunting particularly moose and deer, but also enjoyed fishing, dad was a true outdoorsman. In keeping with Lorne’s wishes, cremation will take place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
