Dennis Charles Drost, age 63, of Stratford passed away peacefully at home on March 17, 2023. Born in Cambridge, son of the late George and Margaret (McInnes) Drost.
Predeceased by his first wife Laureen Drost (2008). Dennis is survived by his wife Trudy Stumpf. Father of Jeremy Drost (Krystin) and their children Scarlett, Brody and Madelyn; step father of Mark Vandenberk (Samantha) and their children Brooklyn and Kaydence; Matt Vandenberk, Rebecca Gagnon (Joey), Joshua Gagnon (Hannah); brother of Gary Gowing (Cathy), Elizabeth Porteos (Joanne), Marie Chora (John), Valerie Evans (Terry), Shirley Gowing (Mark). Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by grandson Adam and brother George Drost.
A celebration of Dennis’s life will be held at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 93 Morgan Street, Stratford on Thursday, April 13, from 6-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada through the W.G.
