BOYD, Muriel Jane

BOYD: Muriel Jane - 78, of Shakespeare passed away peacefully with family by her side at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Thursday, April 18, 2024. She was born November 1, 1945, a daughter of the late Wildren and Hazel (Succee) Downham.

Beloved wife of the late David Larry "Louie" Boyd who predeceased her June 16, 2023. Loving mother of David Boyd (Jennifer); Janice Berg (Jeff); the late Jamie Boyd (Feb. 18, 2018) (Tracey); seven grandchildren, Shelby Boyd (Evan), Nicholas Boyd (Alisha), Katelyn Berg, Carter Berg, Ryan Berg, Shelby Hayle (Jordan), Tye Boyd; two great grandchildren, Layla Hayle and Darla Hayle; brother Bob Downham (Jan); sister Carol McPherson (Ed); sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Audrey Carter, Doris Bailey (Terry), Joan Keutsch (Fred), Marion Boyd, Sylvia Boyd.

Muriel was predeceased by her sister Linda Rau, brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Eileen Boyd, Ben and Joan Boyd, Alvin Boyd, Jack Boyd and Don “Nick” Carter.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Sunday from 2-4pm and Monday, April 22, 2024 from 10-11am where the funeral service will be held at 11:30am. Reception to follow.
