Lorraine Ball, age 91, of Stratford, passed away peacefully, with her daughter and son by her side at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth on Tuesday, June 28, 2022.
Born in London, daughter of the late John and Emma (Curl) Nevin. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband Larry Ball (1984). Survived by her two loving children Richard Ball and Tracey Ball. Lorraine was a long-time member of Stratford Branch # 8 of the Royal Canadian Legion; she was a member of the ladies’ auxiliary and enjoyed her Wednesday night crib league. Besides her parents and her husband, Lorraine was predeceased by all her siblings Richard Nevin, William Nevin, Millie Say, Poppy Barnett, Edna Youde and her daughter -in-law Elaine.
Richard and Tracey would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, staff and volunteers at the hospice for the compassion given to their mother. In keeping with Lorraine’s wishes cremation will take place and there will not be any funeral visitation or service. Lorraine will be interred in Paris Cemetery with her late husband Larry.
