A dramatic goal in the third overtime period from Cole Lewis lifted the Stratford Warriors to a 3-2 win over the Brantford Bandits on Friday night.

Cole's third goal of the GOJHL midwestern division quarterfinal clinched the series in five games for the Warriors, after more than 100 minutes of hockey at the William Allman Memorial Arena.

Lewis scored seven seconds into the third extra frame, almost four hours after the game started.

Evan Palubeski scored the only goal of the first period for a 1-0 Bandits lead. Camden Daigle and Brayden Stumpf replied for the Warriors in the second period.

Yann Raskin had the lone goal of the third period to tie the game for the Bandits.

Stumpf notched assists on both of the other Cullitons' goals in a three point night.

Matthew Perdue had 40 saves for the Warriors. Lennart Neisse stopped 53 shots for the Bandits.

Stratford move on to play the Elmira Sugar Kings in the semifinals. Listowel take on Ayr in the other conference semifinal.
