After a recent open house, the Town of St. Marys has created an online survey to delve deeper into the best use of 14 Church St. N and the other downtown service locations.

The locations also include town hall, St. Marys Public Library, and St. Marys Train Station.

The survey, which can be found here, is open until April 22. Completed copies of the paper survey can be submitted at Town facilities or by mail (Town of St. Marys, P.O Box 998, St. Marys, Ont. N4X 1B6).

The survey comes after nearly 300 residents attended an open house on Church Street as part of a downtown service location review.

“We were absolutely blown away by the attendance at Saturday’s open house,” said St. Marys Mayor Al Strathdee in a prepared statement. “Our residents clearly have a deep emotional attachment to the building. We hope they will channel that passion into providing meaningful input through our survey.”

“The feedback we gather now will help us make practical, community-minded decisions about how we use our downtown facilities in the future," Strathdee added.

Anyone who completes the survey will also be entered in a draw to win $50 in St. Marys money, which can be used like cash at more than 40 businesses in town.

More details on the downtown service location review can be found here.
