On May 15, the Culinary Club at Stratford District Secondary School presents 'A Spring Celebration', a student-planned dinner, probably the most important meal of the year and a chance to show students who have volunteered how much the community supports them.

This menu will focus on fresh flavours and seasonal ingredients and is priced at $35 a ticket for a 4-course meal.

The meal includes salmorejo, Greek salad, croquettes, Moroccan chicken tangine, apple tart with ice cream and granita.

Seatings are at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. Can't come? Takeout is available at 4:45 p.m.

RSVP to screamingavocadosdss@gmail.com to reserve or order.

The Culinary Club has hosted or created six dinner experiences, all of which have supported various community initiatives.

Keepers of the Fire - around $4,000 raised for charity.

The 26 Million Meal - $8,550 raised
