Stratford's refreshed rainbow crosswalk in front of city hall is now in place.

Damaged shortly after it was installed in 2021, a fundraising campaign was undertaken by Stratford-Perth Pride and Sirkel Foods to pay for a new one.

The new crosswalk is designed with a material that makes it adhere to the road better.

The new crosswalk includes the colours of the six-stripe Pride flag - red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple - a pink and light blue stripe representing the trans community, as well as a black and brown stripe representing queer people of colour. White road paint will be put at each end and the sides of the crosswalk to provide visual safety.
