A damaged wall has prompted the temporary closure of the pool located at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.
“The wall was scheduled for maintenance this year but has deteriorated sooner than expected,” says a news release issued by the Town of St. Marys. “A contractor has been hired and repairs are now underway.”
The pool is expected to reopen on Feb. 17. All swimming lessons and aquatics programs are cancelled until that time.
Parents and guardians that registered for programs will receive a credit through Activenet.
Information about the status of these repairs will be shared to the town’s website, Facebook page and Twitter account.
