Perth County OPP stopped the driver of a vehicle on Line 34 in Perth East for travelling 147 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.
On Jan. 21 around 9 p.m., the investigating officer determined that the driver had been drinking alcohol. After a breathalyzer was administered, a 29-year-old from Kitchener was charged with drive motor vehicle - perform stunt and novice driver with a BAC above zero
A 30-day-driving suspension and fourteen-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute. The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford at a later date to answer to the charge. An additional three-day driving suspension was initiated for the novice driver- BAC over zero charge.
