The school is set to offer a 16-week, summer culinary program that provides pupils with an opportunity to earn their level one cook diploma and open the door to a culinary career.
In addition to daily, hands-on cooking classes, the program includes theoretical course components and theory curriculum related to various duties within the hospitality industry – sanitation, communication, food costing, nutrition, kitchen management and more.
The program runs Monday to Friday, with four “savoury-focused” classes and one pastry-focused class per week.
