Conestoga College is set to announce its new Stratford home next week, as the satellite campus will relocate to 60 Erie Street starting later this year.
The college will make it official at an event on Thursday, Feb. 6, when they unveil plans for the 22,700-square foot space. Having acquired the space in 2024, Conestoga has already undertaken upgrading efforts to prepare the space for students for the fall term. According to information provided by the college, that includes building classrooms, learning spaces, computer labs and simulated learning spaces to support programs.
Available programs at the Stratford campus will include:
- Academic upgrading
- Business-Marketing
- Early Childhood Education
- Event Management (starting Winter 2026)
- General Arts & Science
- Health Office Administration
- Media Foundations
- Office Administration - General
- Payroll & Bookkeeping
- Personal Support Worker
Conestoga’s current campus in Stratford, located at 130 Youngs Street, will be closed and all of the full-time academic programming will be moved to the new facility on Erie Street once it opens.There was no specific capacity given in terms of the number of students the new building can house, with the college only saying ‘several hundred’.
The college will host a site preview event at Stratford’s city hall on March 1, from 2-3:30 p.m. in the auditorium.
