Downtown Stratford Business Improvement Area (BIA) wants to pay you for shopping and dining this month.

From February 15 to February 29, for every $100 spent before tax at designated downtown locations, customers can get a $10 back in promo dollars up to a maximum of $50.

“There is nothing more rewarding than getting paid to make the purchases you would have made without this bonus,” said Jamie Pritchard, the BIA’s general manager, in a media release.

To claim the promo dollars, bring receipts to the RBC on Downie Street Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or to Destination Stratford on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Receipts can be handed in until Monday, March 11 or until supplies last.

The BIA has allotted $10,000 toward the Ten Buck Back program, so it is “first come first served” until the maximum has been reached. If that happens before February 29, the BIA will share that news through its website and social media accounts.

Promotion dollars must be spent by April 30.
