The Dash and Splash dog pool party is back and offers a fun way to support the Humane Society's work.

The event will include the dog park pool party, a splash pad and lots of family friendly activities.

“This is a fantastic event in support of our animals at the humane society,” stated Nick Burke, director of development, Humane Society of Kitchener Waterloo and Stratford Perth (HSKWSP). “It’s so much fun to watch the dogs enjoy a giant pool party, and this year we have fun for the whole family too!”

The fun starts at 10 a.m. on Sept. 11 at Kitchener's Kiwanis Park.

There is a $15 entry fee, or participants can raise $25 or more to receive entry to the event, a swag bag.

Anyone raising over $40 will also get a t-shirt.

All the money raised will go toward the Humane Society's community programs and services.

There will be vendors and booths, including pet boutiques, pet retail stores, home décor, health and beauty, and other great sponsors like Clean & Tidy.

For food lovers, Berlin 95, Funnel Cake Dream and Little Tree Café food trucks will be there.
