'Prestigious awards' for Perth County economic development and tourism

A pair of Perth County projects were honoured as part of the Economic Developers Council of Ontario's annual EDCO Conference and Showcase in Toronto

Perth County Economic Development and Tourism division has been recognized with a pair of awards.

On Thursday, the division was honoured by the Economic Developers Council of Ontario at the 67th annual EDCO Conference and Showcase in Toronto.

The projects from Perth County that were recognized include:

  • Perth County Farms to Stratford Tables - Community Economic Development - Rural Award
  • Perth County Full House Tour - Workforce Development and Resident Attraction - Rural Award

"We are honoured to receive these prestigious awards from EDCO," said Meredith Forget, manager of economic development and tourism.

"The robust strength of our partnerships has been instrumental in the success of these projects. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and the collaborative spirit within our community. These projects reflect our commitment to driving economic development while fostering inclusivity and enhancing the overall quality of life in Perth County."
