Coronation Medals presented to 20 'outstanding' locals

[On Sunday], John Nater, Member of Parliament for Perth—Wellington presented the King Charles III Coronation Medal to 20 local recipients.

The King Charles III Coronation Medal is a Commemorative Medal created by the Government of Canada to mark the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

The 20 local recipients were selected following an open nomination process in May and June when residents of Perth—Wellington were asked to nominate outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to our communities and country.

In honouring these recipients, MP Nater said: “These recipients were nominated by their communities; their neighbours, co-workers, friends, and fellow volunteers. They come from all nine municipalities in Perth—Wellington and embody different backgrounds, careers, and interests. But each of them holds one important thing in common: a commitment to their community and country.”
