AMDSB Student Senate hosting E-Waste drop off initiative

E-waste collection bins will be set up at AMDSB secondary schools for staff, students and the general public to drop off their devices

Looking for somewhere to recycle your electronics? 

Look no further - Student Senators from the Avon Maitland District School Board (AMDSB), in partnership with Greentec are raising awareness about e-waste and the need to properly recycle electronic devices.

E-waste collection bins will be set up at four AMDSB secondary schools across Huron and Perth counties throughout Earth Week (April 15 - 19).

AMDSB students and staff are welcome to drop off e-waste items (list of appropriate items) any time throughout the week and anyone from the general public is welcome to drop off materials on Friday April 19 (9 a.m. - 3 p.m.) at the following locations:

  • Listowel District SS (155 Maitland Ave. S.,
  • Listowel) Stratford District SS (428 Forman Ave., Stratford)
  • Central Huron SS (165 Princess St. E., Clinton)
  • South Huron District HS (92 Gidley St. E., Exeter)

Bins for the community collection will be placed in front of the schools near the main doors. Community members will be able to drive up and drop their items in the bin.
