Gertrude Ellen Baulk, age 98, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Seaforth Community Hospital on Friday, April 26, 2024.
Born in Toronto, daughter of the late Frederick and Edith Scott. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Baulk. Loved mother of Brian Baulk, Judy McCann (Bruce) and Brenda Baulk-DeVry (late John). Dear sister of Edith Ballantyne and sister-in-law of Marlene Sweet. Proud grandmother of Nathan, Ashley (Adam), Kristin (Carson), Todd (Kelly), Mark (Leanne), Lindsay (Steve), Shannon (Max) and Scott. Also survived by her 14 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her daughter-in-law Elizabeth Baulk, grandson Adam Baulk and brothers Fred and Arthur ’Matt’ Scott.
Visitation at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 from 11 am until the time of the funeral service at 12 noon with Rev. Keith Reynolds officiating. A reception will be held in the reception centre of the funeral home following a private family interment in Avondale Cemetery.
